Build the Data Layer Behind Commercial Auto Insurance
We connect 175+ ELD and camera systems into a single platform that insurers use to underwrite smarter, settle claims faster, and keep drivers safer. If you want your work to move real numbers in a real industry, you will find that here.
Small Team. Serious Scale.
Commercial auto has one of the toughest loss ratios in insurance, and most of the industry still prices risk on paperwork and hunches. TruckerCloud changes that. We aggregate telematics data from hundreds of thousands of vehicles, normalize it, score it, and hand insurers the insight they need at the moment they need it.
That means real engineering problems at real volume: hundreds of terabytes of data, 175+ upstream integrations that all behave differently, and downstream users who make million dollar decisions on what we deliver. It also means a team small enough that your work ships and gets used, not shelved.

How We Work
Own the whole thing.
You take work from architecture through deployment and monitoring. No handoffs to a team that owns "the rest of it."
Remote and distributed.
Our team works across the US and Latin America. We hire for the work, not the zip code.
Two kinds of expertise, both required.
Our commercial roles call for real commercial auto insurance experience, because there is no fast way to learn how underwriters, brokers, and claims teams actually make decisions. Our engineering roles do not require that background, but they do require the curiosity to build for people who have it. Both sides sharpen each other here.
Close to the customer.
Leading commercial auto insurers use this platform every day. Feedback loops here are short and specific.

Business Development and Marketing Associate
Run outbound prospecting across a defined universe of carriers, MGAs, programs, and brokers, and build the content and campaigns that bring prospects to us instead of the other way around. Split roughly 60/40 between business development and marketing, each with its own targets and bonus.
Tools
What You'll Do
- Run and improve the prospecting pipeline across Notion, Apollo, and Attio, including enrichment, email verification, and domain research.
- Hit weekly throughput targets for qualified, enriched, verified contacts added to the outreach queue.
- Build target account lists across carriers, MGAs, programs, RRGs, and brokers, researching operating structure and fit before a name enters the queue.
- Draft and run outreach sequences, sent under senior team members' names, and hand over warm, briefed meetings rather than raw leads.
- Maintain CRM hygiene in Attio: stages, sources, contact records, and activity logging.
- Support the European team with UK and EU target list development and outreach.
- Produce content that supports the sale: case studies, one-pagers, white papers, product explainers, and conference collateral.
- Run and measure campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and the website.
- Own source attribution end to end so every deal in the CRM has a recorded source.
- Maintain and improve website and landing page content, including the agent and broker waitlist funnel.
- Support event and conference presence, from pre-show targeting through post-show follow-up.
What We're Looking For
- Two to five years in B2B business development, sales development, or growth marketing, ideally with exposure to both.
- Genuinely strong written English — a large share of this job is writing that a senior insurance executive will read.
- Comfort with CRM and enrichment tooling, and the instinct to automate a repetitive task rather than grind through it.
- Strong research ability — you should enjoy figuring out how a company is actually structured and who really owns a decision.
- Organized enough to protect project work from daily work without being reminded.
- Comfortable working asynchronously with colleagues in another time zone.
Nice to Have
- Background in insurance, insurtech, logistics, or trucking.
- Hands-on experience with Apollo, Attio, Notion, HubSpot, or similar.
- Experience building attribution or reporting from scratch rather than inheriting a working system.
- Basic design or video capability for collateral and social content.
What We Offer
- Base salary depending on experience.
- Quarterly performance bonus split between business development and marketing targets.
- A per-deal bonus on closed-won business you sourced, uncapped.
- Unlimited paid time off.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k).
- Fully remote, with home office and tooling covered.
- Conference attendance and professional development support.
Agent and Broker Sales Lead
Own sales and distribution for our new agent and broker platform end to end — finding agencies, selling them, getting them live, and keeping them successful. This is the first dedicated seller on a product with no established playbook.
Focus
What You'll Do
- Own the revenue number for the agent and broker platform.
- Convert the existing waitlist into the first live cohort of paying agencies.
- Build and work a pipeline of retail agencies and brokerages placing commercial trucking risk.
- Run tailored demos that speak to how a producer and account manager actually spend their day.
- Negotiate and close subscription agreements.
- Get in front of agencies in person: agency visits, regional producer meetings, state association events, and industry conferences.
- Develop channel relationships with clusters, networks, aggregators, wholesalers, and MGAs.
- Own the handoff from signed to live, including producer and account manager training.
- Drive activation — get agencies actually completing client data authorizations and using the platform in live submissions.
- Own the ongoing agency relationship: adoption, expansion, renewal, and churn.
- Bring structured, evidence-backed feedback to the product manager on what agencies need and what is winning deals.
What We're Looking For
- Five or more years selling into or working inside retail insurance agencies and brokerages, with commercial auto or trucking exposure.
- Real understanding of how a commercial trucking submission gets built, marketed, and bound.
- A track record of carrying and hitting a number in a consultative, relationship-driven sale.
- Comfort selling a product in its first year, where the reference list is short and objections are still being discovered.
- Ability to explain telematics and data authorization to a producer in plain language.
- Willingness to travel regularly and to be in the field rather than behind a desk.
- Self-direction — you will not be handed a territory plan, you will build one.
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships within trucking-focused agencies, clusters, or networks.
- Experience launching a version-one product into an established distribution channel.
- Experience with SaaS subscription sales in addition to insurance distribution.
What We Offer
- Base salary depending on experience.
- Uncapped commission on new business, activation, retention, and channel-sourced revenue, with accelerators above quota.
- A recoverable draw during the launch ramp.
- Equity participation.
- Unlimited paid time off.
- Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- 401(k).
- Fully remote, with travel and home office expenses covered.
